 The Rawson Properties franchise in Glenvista is currently marketing four projects, including the Meyersdal Eco-Estate developed by Hometalk.
This is a 450ha development near Alberton in which 340 stands measuring 1800sqm to 4000sqm each are available, at prices between R1,3m and R4m. The estate has buck, zebra and other non-predatory animals roaming free on it and leisure activities here include game drives, walking trails, tennis and squash.
The estate has been rated as one of the top five in the country, and strict architectural guidelines are in place, with completed homes costing anything from R5,5m to R30m.
The second project on sale is the Meyersdal Nature Estate, which has 289 stands each measuring 800sqm to 1800sqm and selling from R680 000. The estate has a clubhouse with a day spa and completed homes here are priced between R2,6m and R6,5m.
At the other end of the scale, the franchise is marketing the Bassonia Sun townhouse development, comprised of 39 units each with with two to four bedrooms. The entry level price can be as low as R749 000 which is exceptional value for an increasingly upmarket area.
For retirees, the franchise suggests the Riverstone Retirement Village at Parys on the Vaal River, which is located in an established golf estate and offers free-standing homes at prices from R389 000 for a one-bedroom unit. Two and three bedroom units are also on offer and the village has full medical support and central dining and communal facilities.
