Marketed by Pam Golding Properties and set in the pleasant sub-tropical climate of the Letaba district of Limpopo, the estate extends over 69ha and incorporates scenic views over natural dams, lush forests and mountains. The size of the stands ranges from 3200sqm to 5500sqm and they are priced from R650 000, which excludes the cost of building a house. All houses are to be built in a spacious plantation style with large wrap-around verandas specifically designed for the development, and buyers can choose from various layouts. Says Dawie Venter, PGP's area principal in Tzaneen: “Our local buyers have mainly been families purchasing to live on the estate permanently, while others are buying for leisure use and investment purposes. This development is attracting considerable interest, with infrastructure already in place, 10 homes already built and construction of the clubhouse under way. In addition, a small retirement village comprising 25 houses is proposed for development at the entrance to the estate." Activities for residents on the estate include hiking, bird and wildlife viewing, fishing in one of four dams, canoeing, cycling and horse riding. There’s a private clubhouse with swimming pool, mini-gym, squash court and entertainment area as well as a business centre with small shops. State of the art stables, tack rooms and feeding rooms are in the planning stages, while dressage and jumping arenas, a lunging ring and a polocrosse arena have been completed. Just outside the estate are attractions such as a prehistoric cycad forest, local African craft markets, game reserves and the largest Baobab tree in the world. There’s a host of other leisure activities in the vicinity such as mountain biking, golf, fishing, white water rafting, abseiling, rock climbing, 4x4 trails and hot air ballooning.
